On the Road to Recovery

Good Morning Ladies!!
Just a quick note to all of you to let you know that my surgery was successful and I am on the mend. I got home yesterday and will spend part of the day trying to catch up with all of you!! Thank you for your warm wishes and prayers.

I have several little hand projects to work on while I watch TV and have pulled out all of my old magazines to look at again!! Some of them I don't even remember!!!

The hardest part about recovery is learning to SLOW DOWN! After going 90 miles an hour every day with work, family, etc. it is hard for me to just think about me! I actually feel a little guilty. I guess that's just a woman thing.

Hope all of you had a great Labor Day weekend, especially those who had kids home from school. Will be floating through your blogs over the next few days!!

Glad to hear you're mending well. Just take it easy and do what the doctor tells you. That way you can get back to quilting quicker.

Happy to hear you are doing well. Remember to let others do for you. The more you rest, the sooner you'll be at full speed again.
It will be fun to go through old magazines. I find things I dismissed previously because they were too difficult or not my style are just right up my alley now.

So glad it went well and you are on the road to recovery. Relax, enjoy those hand work projects, read some good books, and let your family wait on you hand and foot. Might as well take advantage of it while you can!

Oh, I had that "lady" surgery in April - you must slow down and let your body heal. I started working 7 days after surgery and paid for it later. Ugh! Let everyone around you pamper you but you must also pamper yourself.

Wishing you lots of get well wishes!

Things happen for a reason, Annie. Just listen to what your body is telling you-take it easy for now. Believe me, everything else will still be waiting when you're ready.

Latest finish and a preview
