Leaves are falling down, down, down

My last post was before the 4th of July and here it is the middle-end of October.  Where did the time go?  We had a very busy summer with a visit to my son in Nevada, several trips to the Jersey Shore, and a trip to Boston to see the Boss at Fenway. But now my yard is full of yellow, orange and red leaves. We are starting to settle into fall and (grumble, grumble) winter.

Just a note to let you all know that I am alive and well and buried in my quilting hovel. I am quilting and getting to know my Ava better every day.  I have not felt very bloggy these last months. Don't know if perhaps the blogging thing has run its course for me.  I continue to follow all of you, often "lurking", some times commenting and I enjoy this.

I am heading to my bi-annual quilt retreat on Thursday with many projects packed to go- a couple of Christmas jelly roll quilts for gifts, a new paper piecing project (I've not done PP in years!!) and a UFO from two years ago which I am bound and determined to finish for January as part of our guild's New Year's Resolution project.

I will bring my camera to capture the finishes. Maybe that will get me back on the Blog Wagon.

Still thinking of all of you!

QUILT TIL YOU WILT!

Glad to read you again!
I certainly understand about falling off the blog wagon. Sometimes it's fun, sometimes a chore. I say, "Do what feels right for you!!"

If you post, I'll come by and read it. If not, I'll keep up on FB but I prefer blogs if the content is quilting.

Hi again! Glad to see you're quilting and enjoying blog surfing even if you don't feel like posting yourself. Hope you give us a peek soon of what Ava's been producing :)
