Buenas Dias from Puerto Rico

Hola! Arrived in San Juan on Sunday morning and spent 2 days in the "New York" of PR. We rented a car and headed out to the western part of the island yesterday and will spend 3 days in Rincon. This is a much quieter laid back place. Lots of bars with rum punch and mojitos. Had dinner high in the treetops last nite. An excellent tapas menu and great wine selection.


This was our view from a little bar on the beach last night. We are going to snorkel today and of course more laying around on the beach.

We are staying at a little inn here in Rincon. There are no chain hotels here. It is a little more rustic but everyone is very accommodating. The roosters woke us this morning.
