Fairy Under the Moon and Stars

Well, here she is! I made six of them, four to exchange and two for later use. I'm really happy with the result. The background is lutrador painted blue. I used 505 spray to hold down the stars and covered it with a gold tulle, then did some free motion over the whole thing with holoshimmer(?) in the bobbin. Once they were cut 4 x6, I edged them in gold thread. The fairy is stamped on fairy frost fabric and then embossed with gold tinsel embossing powder. Then I just used a decorative stitch to attach her. Lots of hours involved but lots of fun! I can't wait to see what the other gals do with this theme.

We are expecting some nasty weather today so I hope to duck out of the office early and head home to finish binding a charity quilt. This weekend we are headed to Mohegan Sun, one of the casinos in CT, to stay overnight and meet with friends from New Jersey for a concert. Hopefully, the weather will cooperate. Everyone have a great weekend! Oh, and GO PATS!!

Wowza! I sure love seeing all the artistic pieces you are doing . . . I can dream up a straight line, but you just have me in awe *s*
Who you gonna see in concert? Inquiring minds are dying to know.
