O Christmas Tree, Part Two

As you know, the Grinch stopped by our house the other night and tipped over our Christmas tree. My DH and I spent over an hour trying to get the tree to stand upright. ( this tree had spine problems!!) We decided to donate the tree to our birds who are now using it as a Christmas clubhouse.

Here is the replacement! This is my DH, Bob! Or as he is known in these parts, Mr. Christmas!!

This tree came prelit with 1000 lights. We added an additional 400 for good measure. It was pretty easy to set up and is 9 1/2 feet tall. We will finish decorating this one and the decorating will be done.

Now, on to present wrapping, Christmas card writing, cookie baking, more shopping, and of course, quilting and knitting!!!

Ahhh -- we discovered the ease of a pre-lit tree this year. Enjoy! I'm sure the birds are *s*

Hi Annie, Annie, Annie, my favorite Annie...*VBS*
It feels so good to have my eye working well enough to read some blogs and leave comments..*VBS*
Thanks for all your lovely remarks. It does help to keep me going.
Sooo sorry The Grinch found our tree, but it must have been destined for other things. I think the bird clubhouse is an excellent idea!! You sound super busy, and that's the norm! I look forward to getting to read a bit more each day, and maybe catch up. As of this a.m. Beta still didn't want me, but I'll keep trying. IF I don't make it back before Christmas, have the merriest holiday ever! Hugs, Finn (who is shopping with a grand new shopping bag..in red *VBG*)
